Before I go on my spiel about what you’re investing in with your wedding photos, I want you to think about what you have AFTER the wedding day is over. What do you have to remember your day by? More than likely, all you'll have to hold onto after your wedding is photography or videography. You will remember the moments, the feelings, the laughs, the happy tears, you will remember the real stuff. The real stuff that you will see in your photos. Photos are forever.. And ever, and ever. Photos are what your great, great grandchildren will have to remember you by. And investing in someone who will capture your day in a way that you find beautiful and sentimental, should be high on your list. And listen, I am not a salesperson, I don’t like to be fake just to make a fast buck - I will always be real with you. And I’m telling you that photos are what you have to hold onto forever, so please don’t let your photographer be the cheapest and easiest deal that you make. Do your research, value what you’re putting your money towards and choose a photographer that fits you both best. Because at the end of the day, you and your family will have what you’re investing in, forever.
My top priority is the experience I offer. I’m not a photographer who will brag about booking 60 weddings a year, that just isn't my style. I like to be intentional, present, helpful, and invest in my couples. I wouldn’t be able to give that experience if I took on more work, because I’m one person. It’s just me running my business. I don’t send out my photos to be edited, I don’t hire associate shooters to take my place, I don’t like to take on more than I can handle and hire other creatives to help me finish the work - just so I can book more throughout the year. Every aspect of your experience with me, will be 100% me. Because of this, I don’t take on a boat load of elopements and weddings per year, my booking process is intentional and honest, I take on a certain amount of sessions per week, and also make sure to do my best to separate work from my personal life - to make sure I am my best self for my clients, because it is what you deserve. I don’t want to be an exhausted, burnt out photographer just robotically editing your photos and not caring about the efforts I put into them, just to make sure I get them to you on time. This work, and my couples, mean a lot more to me than just a date on my calendar and a paycheck in my business account. You deserve the best that I can give you, and the way I do that is by limiting the number of jobs I take, setting aside time for my family and personal life, and always working on being the best version of me.
